An Introduction to the Queue (Text Request Main Dashboard)
The Queue is the first screen you see when you login to your Text Request account. There’s a lot going on here, so we’ll cover the basics and link to pages with more details, should you need them.

The Queue and Group Queue Tabs
The Queue is where all your messages live. At the top of the page, you’ll see two tabs, one for Queue, which holds individual messages, and one for Group Queue, which holds group messages.
To send a message, click the green Compose Message button. For more details, view our Sending Individual Messages page.
As you send and receive messages, you’ll see blocks begin to fill up your Queue. Each block contains the message history between your text number and that contact. For more details, see the Conversation Blocks and Contact Details sections below.
To send a group message, click the green New Group Message button. You’ll also be able to track the sending of all group messages using the group message blocks. For more details, view our Sending Group Messages page.
From the Individual Queue
You’ll see grey and white blocks containing your message history with each contact you’ve communicated with. There’s a lot you can see and do from these blocks.
First, there’s a time stamp on each message, so you can know the exact time and day each message was sent or received. You’ll also be able to see which Text Request user sent the message.
The conversation block will also show the most recent message to or from that contact. Conversation blocks will appear either grey or white depending on whether a message has been resolved.
Unresolved messages are white, to let you know they haven't been handled yet. Resolved messages are grey, to let you know they've been taken care of. When you reply to or forward a message, it is automatically marked resolved. You can resolve or unresolve a message at any time by checking or unchecking the Resolved box.
All unresolved messages will float to the top of your Queue when the page is refreshed, so you can quickly see which messages need attention.
If you have multiple users on your account (which is encouraged), you will be able to see when another user is replying to a message. This way, multiple users will not accidentally send different replies to the same message.
Click anywhere in the conversation block to see the contact’s entire message history.
From the Group Queue Tab
Instead of conversation blocks, the Group Queue has group message blocks. Each group message you send creates a new message block. In this message block, you’ll be able to see the time stamp, which user sent the message, how many contacts it was sent to, what the message said, and a sending progress bar.
Click on a group message block to view its Group Message Details screen, or click the blue arrows to send another message to the same collection of contacts. For more details, view our Sending Group Messages page.
Beneath every conversation block in your individual Queue is the contact that conversation block belongs to. You might see a phone number or a name here. You can click on the contact at any time to edit their information. For more details, view our Adding and Editing Contacts page.
To search messages, click on the search icon in the top right corner of your individual Queue. From the Search Messages screen, you’ll be able to search your messages by the user who sent them, contact who sent them, and keywords (search terms). Choose the dates to search between, and click the Search button. You’ll see all messages meeting your criteria.
Alternating Between Text Numbers
If you have multiple text numbers under your account, you can toggle between each of them using the text numbers dropdown menu at the top of your Queue. For more details and recommendations, view our Changing Text Numbers page.
You’ll be able to see all of your currently scheduled messages by clicking the clock icon on the right side of your individual Queue screen. For more details, view our Sending Individual Messages page.
On the left side of your screen, you’ll see all the different Text Request menu options. Depending on your user permissions level, you’ll see different options here. For more details, view our User Permissions page.
